Corn? No thanks

Today we have some fantastic news to report to you. We will return to see how the assemblers in Arvika (no, thats not in Africa) are doing, and we will find out a few goodies about Häljeboda (hb0da).

But first, we turn our attention to an amazing zoologic discovery made by swedish news media giant Aftonbladet. Through their vast network of journalistic miracle workers, a new species of shark has been identified. They have named it: Dödshajen, which translates literally to “The Deathshark”. A truly exciting name, which can only bring references to amazing motion pictures such as Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3, Jaws 4, Deep Blue Sea, and Jaws vs. Predator.

The headline of their discovery, along with photographic evidence of the Deathshark.

The taxonomy of the shark is unknown, but it is presumed that it is related to other sharks, since it is swimming in water, and assumably has some teeth. Strangely, the species is not yet recorded in scientific texts. Even Wikipedia renders 0 matching results. This becomes even stranger as Aftonbladet as it seems discovered the species already in June 2005.

We assume they will publish a Wikipedia article about this new and interesting species soon, as it seems to be the most aggressive species of Shark yet known.

Now we return to Arvika and the poor deprived souls at the Volvo CE plant who face extinction and other turbulent events in the near future, as layoffs seem probable. Local news distributer NWT have interviewed plant worker Maria Drews, who is a welder at the plant.

– Jag trivs gôrbra, skulle det hända att jag blir av med jobbet skulle jag bli oerhört ledsen.

We sure hope everything will work out well. Perhaps Volvo might even be kind enough to sponsor our gallant team. hb0da is a dear name to us, but Team Volvo would be too good to say no to. We wanted to interview another welder, but he is at work, welding, so we couldnt.

Instead we turn our attention to more attentionwhoring things, such as Häljeboda. No news however, so we just advertise a bit for our estranged brother-organisation: Häljeboda IF.

Thank you, and have a nice day.
